Ladies Squash at Blackheath Squash Club

We are particularly keen to encourage ladies squash at Blackheath. If you are a beginner, are looking to play again after a break, or are an accomplished player looking to compete for Blackheath in the Kent Leagues we will be pleased to hear from you. Our existing female players cover a range of standards from advanced to recent beginners, and female players are welcome to enter our regular box leagues, where players get the opportunity to play regular semi-competitive matches against other club members. The box leagues span across all levels and will match you up against other players of similar ability. You will get the chance to compete against a handful of other players and you will be able to progress through the divisions by earning promotions as your game continues to improve. Don’t worry though – our members enjoy a good mixture of competition and social interaction so there is plenty of fun to be had!

You are welcome to pop along to our Club Night on Friday evenings from 8pm where you can meet other members and try out the courts. The first session is free of charge. This is a fun session for players of all abilities and you don’t need to be a member to join in the fun. You will have the opportunity to play against people of different abilities, both female and male, and all standards of player are welcome! Whether you are a beginner or are looking to re-discover your game then just come along.

Ladies are welcome to join in our regular squash sessions, for example our Club Night, mentioned above, and ladies are also welcome at one of the coaching sessions run by our coach Ville on a Sunday morning. For less experienced players there is a session for beginners, or players who have had a break from the game, from 9am – 10:30 am which run on most Sunday morning’s. From 10:30 – 12 noon the Senior sessions run for more experienced players and ladies are very welcome if they feel that this session is more appropriate. The cost of these coaching sessions is currently £10. Click on the links below for more details.

If you are unable to commit to playing squash on a regular basis, then you may prefer to contact other members to organise the occasional ad-hoc match, or alternatively to attend the weekly club night sessions on Friday.
